Solicitors Regulation Authority

The Solicitors Regulation Authority is the independent regulatory body of the Law Society in England and Wales. With a move to outcomes focused regulation, a major transformation programme is underway for all 600 SRA staff.

Significant investment is being made to enable the organisation to meet the demands of the future – IT infrastructure, business processes, and talent development.

The SRA appointed LDL to design an approach to ensure staff could understand and implement the behavioural competencies that enable the SRA to build partnerships with stakeholders; become more proactive, and forge relationships built on mutual trust.

The first phase involved all 90 senior managers and Heads of Business Units participating in a programme to embed the behavioural competencies and to enable the managers to support their teams through the change. The feedback has been very positive. The second phase is a roll-out to all remaining 500+ staff.
